The only conclusion I can draw is, this isn't a network issue. The game becomes unresponsive, attacks to creatures/mining is almost impossible. When I check Top in terminal it was displaying result of 180%+ CPU usage, and as high as 340% at one point (4 people on server at once) Over WAN, the game was lagging with entities and block breaking and whatnot.
